CLAYTON THOMSON - LEAD VOCALS
Aficionados of 80’s music will be aware of the great vocal talents from that era, such names as Tony Hadley, Martin Fry, Simon Le Bon - Clayton has heard of these as well.
Clayton, well known for wearing hats, narrowly missed out on winning the title ‘Folkestone Hat Wearer of the Year’ in 2012 when, after an unfortunate misunderstanding he found himself attending an event celebrating 80’s ska music wearing an actual pork pie from Buttys (the best sandwich shop in Folkestone) as opposed to a pork pie hat popularised by bands from the 80’s such as Madness and The Specials. Needless to say this was frowned upon by the hat wearing fraternity and he was removed from the list of nominees, he does, however, defiantly continue to wear hats to this day.

STEVE YOUNG - KEYBOARDS
Steve Young – or to give him his full title Dr Steve Young, discovered the secret of time travel in 1985, it is a little known fact that the well known 80’s film ‘Back to the Future’ was based on factual events, and the character Dr Emmett “Doc” Brown from the movie is based on Steve. He constructed a fully functioning time machine from a Mark 2 Ford Capri, rather than a DeLorean as depicted in the film, and Steve’s hair and teeth are actually from the 1980’s.
Steve refers to himself as 'a student of all sciences' he discovered the Higgs boson, the so called ‘God particle’ with a table top version of the Large Hadron Collider in the late eighties, years before Professor Brian Cox was even in the band D:Ream. However as with so many other mad genius types he never published his findings and they ended up gathering dust on top of a wardrobe. He is a passionate inventor; he hand builds his own keyboards from reclaimed Sinclair ZX81 and Commodore 64 parts.

PAUL 'LEWIE' LEWIS - GUITAR
Celebrated guitarist Paul Lewis is the newest addition to the A-Tees family, Paul was actively recruited as he has a calming influence over the legendary George Brace (see below) Paul is a fully accredited ‘drummer whisperer’.
Paul owes his success to The Electric Mayhem Band featured in the widely acclaimed Muppet Show of the late seventies and early eighties. He was musical director and a close associate of Dr Teeth himself. One of the more vocal band members, Paul‘s hip sarcasm was often directed at Muppet Show regulars, particularly Miss Piggy. Piggy eventually instigated a grievance procedure against him and he was fired by the manager of the company, a Mr The-Frog. Although cruelly cast out of the inner circle, Paul is still widely considered a Muppet, by his peers, to this day.

GEORGE BRACE - DRUMS
The legend of George Brace states that he was born from an egg on a mountain top; a stone egg and thus he is a stone monkey, a skilled fighter who becomes a brash king of a monkey tribe, who, the famous song goes on to claim, was "the funkiest monkey that ever rocked". His life story was depicted in the popular Japanese television series 'Monkey' that ran from the late 70’s to the early 80’s. Legend has it George was approached by heaven to join their host, first in the lowly position of Master of the Stable (manure disposal), and then, after his riotous complaints, as "Keeper of the Peach Garden of Immortality". George then ate many of the peaches, which had taken centuries and millennia to ripen, became immortal and ran amok. Having earned the ire of Heaven and being beaten in a challenge by an omniscient, mighty, but benevolent, cloud-dwelling Buddha, George was imprisoned for 500 years under a mountain in order to learn patience. When he emerged he took up playing the drums and embarked on a pilgrimage across the land.
The image of an ape drumming was later used by Cadbury’s, a chocolate manufacturer, to advertise their products; George has never received any official recognition for this and remains bitter to this day.

ANDY 'HERB' HERBERT - BASS
Herb was mandolin technician to Joe Dolce following his huge success with the, now modern classic, “Shaddup You Face” and the lesser known "You Toucha My Car I Breaka You Face". Following a major falling out with Joe over his 1984 single “Pizza Pizza” they parted company citing ‘artistic differences’.
In 1982 during a hiatus from his role with Mr Dolce he acted as body double for Renato Pagliari in the music video for the hugely acclaimed “Save Your Love” by Renee and Renato. Renato was a large man and Herb was an average sized teenager at the time, however he always purchased clothing far too large for himself, this was due to a neurological condition that altered his perception of the dimensions of clothing under certain types of lighting. He was always too ashamed to return the erroneously purchased items so improvised by wearing padding under his clothes. This transpired to be the best decision in his life as it earned him this highly coveted role. Years of therapy have now cured him of his affliction and he now wears clothing appropriate to his proportions.
