1988 - 1992

Lead singer of "Big Wednesday", an Essex based original pop/rock band. Appeared at the first Chelmsford Spectacular (pre-curser to The V Festival).

1991 – 1995

Lead singer "Gnats In Midwinter" Blues & Rock band.

1995 – 1999

Lead Singer "PDQ" pop duo. Started recording material for an original project initially called "Pepperspray", a four-piece band that toured the ‘Camden Circuit’ and appeared on
ITV's "Warehouse".
Changed name and line-up to "Genelab" and featured on Radio One's "Mark & Lard" show.

1999 – 2000

Signed to Polydor Record Label as singer for Genelab. Spent the next year in a recording studio working on our album and promoting our first single "Anorak Lou" which went to number 79 in the U.K. charts.
Second single less successful and so Genelab and Polydor parted company.

2000 – 2002

Returned to PDQ and occasionally recording in our own studio.

2002 – Present

Formed Andy Wilsher Sings.... a tribute to "The Rat Pack", Michael Buble’ and Robbie Williams. Appearing at private and public events, weddings, corporate events, dinner dances and charity events.
Also continue to record vocals for original and cover tracks for demos etc.

Mission Statement

I would like to get involved in singing on adverts for television and radio as well as demo tracks for more producers and writers and increase my work in studio backing vocal sessions.

I have a great attention to detail and the ability to take and respond to direction. I have a good vocal versatility, can listen to instruction and change the way I sing accordingly and I can harmonise and improvise. I am reliable and easy to work with.
