      Great knowledgeable shop!

      I've used Mor for years for all my guitar repairs.... when they were closed due to the horrific flooding in York i had to go somewhere else and the other place ruined my guitar :-( Suffice it to say i waited till they reopened and now my guitar is better than ever! Mor Music are the only shop in the area i'd recommend for my guitar related needs. The new shop looks great and its an Aladdins cave of great new and used guitars.       Stay away from their guitar techs

      Please, if you value your guitars, don't take them here.I sent my Martin 000x1 guitar for a refret job to MOR Music after reading about some of the good reviews from facebook and the other reviewing sites. I'm a rather aggressive blues guitar player so the frets have worn down after some time (approximately 10 years of playing).Cosmetics issues (see pictures) whereby there is an obvious discolouration to the finish that was not there before. I'm not sure if this was due to the guitar being clamped or if something was spilled on top of it but its pretty obvious if one takes a look at the pictures. Another issue was at where the neck joined with the body. For some reason there seems to be so glittery residue (see picture) on it. Its a minor detail but I can't overlook it. 1 Star. Report

      No, no, no

      Had the misfortune of buying a completely defective instrument from this shop. I returned it to receive half a refund, no apology. Fortunately things were straightened out once the authorities were involved. Report
