Some time ago, after Essex University I jumped into the music business. I have worked with reggae/calypso bands, cover bands (remember Mecca residencies?), latin, funk, rock n roll, soul, salsa, etc. As well as playing as much sax as possible, I am a pretty full-on sax teacher. I have been doing this since 1998, and for 10 years I was a "peri" for Bath and North East Somerset - they called me Senior Music Tutor! Right now I see lots of kids and adults for lessons, and often I will travel to students' houses in the Bristol area. Some of my pupils are kids wanting exams (Trinity, or ABRSM jazz grades), or not wanting to do exams, or wanting coaching for a GCSE or A Level, or...some just want to play saxophone. Some of my pupils are adults, with a real variety of requirements - they may want to fulfill an ambition to start the sax, or want to improve for a wind band, jazz workshop or reggae orchestra,or want confidence to start blowing, and...some just want to play saxophone.
